CELL Package
The CELL package was developed in 2002-3 for modelling of elastic
properties and protein dynamics in the moving cells of lamellipodia
type.
The package is written in C and uses UNIX graphical libraries as well
as external packages Triangle (by J.R. Shewchuk) and LASPack (by
T.Skalicky).
The package provides a graphical user interface for control and
vizualisation.
The density distributions of the network and free actin in the cell.
Note disbalance of the free actin in one part of the cell, it
will lead to
rotation of the cell, because the right part continues to move, while
the left part stops. The final stage of the process is shown below.
